This is the second time the event has been held after last years event at Cockermouth raised over £900 for the charity.

This year’s participants were James Fisher Nuclear Ltd, REACT Engineering Ltd, Shepley Engineers Ltd, Jacobs Stobbarts Ltd, WYG Group and Westinghouse Electric Company.

The six team were split into two groups with the winners going on to place each other in a Grand Final.

The event marked the end of the eleven children’s month long visit to the area.
