A Cumberland Christmas recalls some of the favourite tales from Cumbria over the last 200 years including Robert Anderson’s poem The Redbreast, the legend of the ghost ship Betsey Jane, the St Bees mummers and the Christmas ballad Down’t Lonnin.

The handbound book, compiled by Alan Cleaver, costs £4.99 from Lowes Court Gallery, Main Street, Egremont.
