Get ready for a big night out with Siiboo charity

siibooEGREMONT charity Siiboo is to hold A Big Night Out, to help raise money.

The event is on Saturday, October 1 at the Marchon Club in Whitehaven, starting 7.30pm.

The evening of entertainment will be hosted by Stella the Fella and includes music, comedy, magic and even some hypnotism.

The KOSB Veterans Mini Pipe band will be one of the star acts. The band comprises veterans from the 1st Battalion The King’s Own Scottish Borderers who have seen active service in Northern Ireland and the Gulf War. Siiboo co-founder Colin used to play the drums with the band.

Also performing will be the Starkey School of Theatre Dance, the locally renowned dancing troupe.

The comedy is provided by Mike Wilky, while magician Scott Cuthbertson will be out to amaze you with his close up magic.

And, if you’re starting to feel sleepy, that’s probably because hypnotist Adam Night has just walked on stage! Be prepared for some laughs and some amazement.

There will be other acts as well, making it a very worthwhile outlay – not least as you will be helping Siiboo.

Tickets can be bought online at or from The Perfect Gift Company in Lowther Street, Whitehaven, or Main Street Egremont, also from Nisa Extra on Leconfield Street, Cleator Moor.

Siiboo sends vital supplies for the children and people of The Gambia – one of the poorest countries in the world.
