Labour Party leader, Jeremy Corbyn paid a visit to Cleator Moor today to see Copeland Labour Party members and hear their views.

Spending well over an hour in a private meeting at the Civic Hall, My Corbyn and his Chief Whip, Nick Brown, listened to the opinions of those present about the issues which they believe matter most to residents and businesses in Copeland. He finished with a speech in which he promised to continue challenging the Government on policies which affect the Northwest.

The visit was part of a day spent in Cumbria by the Opposition leader. Mr Corbyn began the morning in Keswick, then travelled to Cleator Moor before setting off to Carlisle to give an outdoor speech in the evening.
