PRESS The Snow Queen

What would you do to save your best friend?

Gerda and Cei are inseparable but when a shard of magical mirror falls into Cei’s eye – turning him cold and cruel – and he is stolen away by the Snow Queen to rebuild her broken treasure, only Gerda believes he can be saved.

With just her wits and beloved pair of red boots, she makes the perilous journey through each of the four seasons to the frozen north to try and rescue Cei and stop the Snow Queen’s plans to plunge the world into an eternal winter. Will Gerda Succeed?

The Snow Queen is directed by Associate Director, Mary Papadima who recently directed Suddenly Last Summer and The Lady of the Lake as part of one the most successful Summer Seasons in the history of the theatre.

With robbers, gossiping flowers, a talking reindeer and charming princes for Gerda to deal with on the way, the TBTL’s Christmas production looks sure to make a magical time for all who come to see this adaptation of a classic and much-loved Hans Christian Andersen story.

The Snow Queen runs in the Main House from Sat 28 November – Saturday 16 January.

Tickets: £30 – £10 (discounts available)
