Pupil goes the extra mile for police project

IMG-20160401-WA0003YOUNG Isaac Sisson who attends Ennerdale Primary School certainly went the extra mile during a recent project at his school.

Pupils were asked to read a favourite book in as relevant a location to the book as they possibly could.

Isaac chose to read Cops and Robbers by Janet and Allan Ahlberg and guess where he asked if he could read it? Yes, that’s right, inside a police station.

It was arranged for Isaac to attend Whitehaven Police Station where he was met by PCSOs Alan Willison and Collette Harrison.

Isaac managed to read some of his book inside a cell at the station and one of the police vehicles.

He was then shown around some of the areas within the station and even had his fingerprints taken to keep as a memento, as well as the photographs that were taken.
