Calling all budding actors! After the great success of St Bees’ Murder Mystery evening earlier this year, St Bees Parish Council have decided to sponsor its first ever Pantomime – Snow White – which will run in January 2017.

Director Gus Kennedy is welcoming anyone who fancies ‘treading the boards’ and can make rehearsals which will be on Saturday mornings at 11am and Sunday afternoons at 4pm and are soon to be underway. Casting has already begun with seven ‘dwarves’ picked from the best of the young thespians at St Bees Village School.

Rehearsals and performances will take place at St Bees Village Hall and Gus Kennedy recommends anyone interested in taking part to contact him on 01946 824109. Events at the venue always book up fast and it is anticipated that demand for tickets for the panto will be very high – so book early!

All profits from the performances will go towards refurbishing the Village Hall kitchen.
