A morning of practice with members of Egremont Bowling Club before a quick stop for lunch and then the schools were split into A and B teams for the tournament.

Having claimed the trophy last year St. Bridget’s were on track to reclaim it as they led by two points ahead of Bookwell at the halfway point.

The final round started with first placed St. Bridget’s facing Bookwell in a potential deciding match.

With three of the four matches finished Bookwell were leading overall by five points, with their match against St Bridget’s to finish.

Unfortunately for them, the side struggled as St. Bridget’s clinched the match to claim the trophy by two points with Bookwell second, Orgill third and Moor Row fourth.
