EGREMONT is set to get funny again with a special charity comedy night in aid of West Cumbria Carers.

Sunday Night at the Palladium and Phoenix Nights live star Steve Royle is hitting the stage of Florence Arts Centre to headline the venue’s first comedy night of 2018.

The event, which takes place on Saturday, February 24, is in aid of the West Cumbria Carers charity – the charity who provide support to carers who look after a family member, relative, friend or neighbor who could not manage without their help.

The evening, hosted by the man billed as Egremont’s answer to Jason Manford, John Lebbon, will see Steve Royal bring his northern comedic styles to the stage after his jaunt as a panto star over the festive season.

Also on the bill for the night is Rob Mitchell.

Mitchell boasts to bring a collective of stories that are not only funny, but relatable to the audience.

And last but certainly not least is Yorkshire funnyman Howard Walker.

Walker is set to bring his own brand of humour and Northern charm to the stage.

All proceeds from ticket sales will go to West Cumbria Carers.

The charity comedy night for West Cumbria Carers is set to go ahead on Saturday, February 24, at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available from the venue’s box office and organisers are recommending to purchase tickets quickly as they are likely to sell out.
